The Great Island Cook Off (GIC) TV show is produced in Nassau Bahamas by Lifestyles Digital Media Group. Each week home cooks face off against each other to see who has the skills to impress our judges and win The GREAT ISLAND COOK OFF! The competition is open to any non-professional chef including home cooks and students.
This is primarily a platform to showcase the Bahamian/Caribbean culinary experience from a different perspective, and to encourage audiences to get back into the habit of preparing home cooked meals for themselves and their families. Two cooks will have 4 – 6 hours to prepare the meal and will be using ingredients that have been preselected by the production team and food partner.
The show will be produced and aired for regional distribution in the Caribbean.
